No, really! How many famous female artists can you name? Probably very few, right?

Charoenkrung art gallery Speedy Grandma will discuss about it this Saturday, along with the art of all-male collective Guerrilla Boys, who call themselves “Fakeminists”.

As many of you probably know, the Guerrilla Girls is a super cool all female art collective based in New York, which has a long term project to raise the issue of gender equality in the world of art, smashing gender based stereotypes and bringing back women as main protagonists into museums.

We are not sure if the Guerrilla Boys can stand their cooler and not “fake” feminists sisters, but would be definitely interesting to participate to the discussion and see how this issue is perceived in Thailand.

The work will be shown until January 14.

When: Saturday, December 19th 2015 – from 7:30 pm till late
Where: Speedy Grandma, Charoenkrung soi 28, Bangkok
Price: Free entry
Near: MRT Hua Lamphong

Queerometer: 3.5/5 because women empowerment pass through art as well, but we need more Guerrilla Girls than Boys to fight for it.
