If you’re passing by Bangkok and you want to not only meet new friends, but also have some fun getting fit and kicking some balls, there is nothing better then participate to one of this informal football teams which gathers every week in Bangkok.
If you’re getting already stressed with the soccer word, don’t worry! It won’t be 11 vs 11, but a more easy-going 6-against-6, right to get you in the shape and make your legs just a little more jelly-like!
All this groups are well accepting women and are absolutely open to all levels, ages and sexualities.
First reason to join one of this informal teams is that women football is one of the most queer sports in the world: the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 had 17 out and proud players, which is basically 100% more than the male World Cup. So, what a better place to get to know some queer fellow women?
Second of all is good for your body, mind, team spirit and you don’t need to be a pro to join.
Third…it’s SO MUCH FUN!
